Can I set a manual Graphic EQ from the app?

Yes. When Audyssey MultEQ and Dirac Live are both off, AVR Maestro's Graphic EQ tab is a full 9-band editor (63Hz to 16kHz, -20 to +6 dB) for every speaker. Drag the bands on the graph, pick which speaker to tune, and Apply.

Why is the Graphic EQ locked?

The receiver runs either room correction (Audyssey MultEQ or Dirac Live) or the manual Graphic EQ, never both. Whenever room correction is active, AVR Maestro locks the Graphic EQ with a clear explanation, and unlocks it the moment you turn room correction off.

Can I edit each speaker separately?

Yes. Choose All to adjust every speaker together, Left/Right to tune a pair, or Each to shape an individual speaker - matching the receiver's own Graphic EQ page. It works on both modern chassis and older firmware.

A real Graphic EQ editor, not an on/off switch

When you run your receiver without Audyssey or Dirac, the manual Graphic EQ is yours to shape - and AVR Maestro gives you the whole thing on your phone: a 9-band curve from 63Hz to 16kHz, -20 to +6 dB, for every speaker, dragged right on the graph and applied live.

Shape the sound, band by band

Nine bands, 63Hz to 16kHz: the same band centers your receiver exposes, each adjustable from -20 to +6 dB.
Drag on the graph: grab a band and pull it up or down - the curve redraws as you go, so you can see the shape you are building.
Pick your target: tune All speakers with one curve, a Left/Right pair together, or Each individual speaker on its own - matching the receiver's own Graphic EQ page.
Copy your Audyssey curve: the Copy button pulls in your measured Audyssey result as a starting point, so you can nudge a proven calibration instead of starting from flat.
Reset: flattens the current selection back to 0 dB.
Apply: sends the curve to the receiver live.

So whenever MultEQ or Dirac is active, AVR Maestro locks the Graphic EQ and tells you exactly why, rather than letting you build a curve the receiver would ignore. Turn room correction off and the editor unlocks the moment you do.

Older firmware is covered too: per-speaker band editing works on the older chassis as well as the modern ones, and the EQ stays put - no more toggling itself off on receivers like the AVC-X6700H.
