One app, 28 languages

Every screen, every setting, every dialog - in your language. The app follows your device out of the box, or you pick one in Settings. Hebrew and Arabic mirror the whole layout. The official Denon and Marantz app ships 10 of these languages; 18 are AVR Maestro's alone.

Where it lives

Settings › Language

Open Settings and tap Language. System default follows the device; below it every language is listed under its own name, so you can find yours without reading another one first. The choice applies at once, survives a restart, and travels with Backup & Restore.

Hebrew and Arabic turn the whole app around: navigation, cards, lists and sliders mirror, while every dB and volume readout still reads left to right inside them.

The Home dashboard, seven ways

One Marantz CINEMA 30, one Home screen, seven languages. What the receiver says - the input, the sound mode, Smart Select - stays exactly as the receiver says it.

The official Denon and Marantz app ships German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Swedish and Simplified Chinese. AVR Maestro ships those and eighteen more.

Languages FAQ

Does the app follow my phone's language automatically?
Yes. Out of the box it follows the device language. To pick one yourself, open Settings › Language; System default hands the choice back to the device.
Are Hebrew and Arabic laid out right to left?
Yes. The whole app mirrors - navigation, cards, lists and sliders - while every dB and volume readout still reads left to right inside it.
Why are my input names and sound modes still in English?
Because they are the receiver's own words, not the app's. Input names, sound modes, brand and format names such as Dolby Atmos, Audyssey, Smart Select and HEOS, and every value the receiver reports are shown exactly as the receiver says them. Only the app's own copy is translated.
Does the language travel with a backup?
Yes. The choice is part of Backup & Restore, so a restored phone opens in the language you had.
