Is there an app to control the Cinema 40, 50 or 60?

Yes - AVR Maestro is a premium third-party controller for the whole Cinema line. Over your network it controls surround modes, Audyssey and Dirac Live, speaker presets, levels, multi-zone, the tuner and one-tap Scenes.

Does it control Dirac Live on the Cinema 40 and 50?

Yes, where your model and license support it - it switches your Dirac filter slots by name; on an Audyssey preset it controls MultEQ, Dynamic EQ, Dynamic Volume and LFC. See the Audyssey & Dirac guide.

Do I need a cloud account?

No - it talks to your Cinema receiver directly over your local network. No cloud account, no subscription, no extra hardware, and your receiver's configuration never leaves your network.
