Can I customize the AVR Maestro Home screen?

Yes. Tap the Customize Home icon to enter edit mode, then drag cards to reorder, tap the red circle to remove one, Add to insert widgets you don't have yet, Reset for defaults, and Done to finish. Cards are dimmed while editing so you can't change a receiver setting by accident.

Does AVR Maestro show what's playing?

When the active source exposes metadata, the Now Playing card shows album art, track and artist or station info and transport controls. Tap Launch HEOS to browse stations, queues and streaming services; once playback starts, AVR Maestro takes back over the now-playing display and widgets.

Your home base, your way

Q: Can I rename my zones, including the main zone?

Yes. Long-press the zone name on the Home screen to rename any zone - the main zone included. The name is written to the receiver itself, so it shows up in the manufacturer's own app and every other client, and it works on older chassis too.

A device status card stays pinned at the top - model, connection, power - with a customizable grid of widgets below it. Add, remove and reorder cards so the Home screen shows exactly what you care about.

Channel / Sub Levels	Per-channel and subwoofer level snapshots with steppers - the subwoofer count follows your live receiver configuration.

Sound controls

Quick toggles in Sound

Graphic EQ: turn the receiver's Graphic EQ on or off from Sound, Audio Features. Only available when neither Dirac Live nor Audyssey is running room correction - the app matches the receiver's own rule.
Subwoofer: mute or enable the subwoofer from Sound, Audio Features, without diving into Speaker setup. Only shown on receivers that report and accept it.
Audio Restorer: the receiver's compressed-audio restorer - Restorer on Denon, M-DAX on Marantz - as a toggle under Sound, Tone, right next to the DAC Filter. Bring the life back into MP3s and streaming sources without a trip to the on-screen menu.

Now Playing & HEOS

See and control what's playing

When the active source exposes metadata, the Now Playing card shows album art, track / artist / station info and transport (play / pause / next / previous).

To browse music - stations, queues, streaming services, HEOS rooms - tap Launch HEOS on the Now Playing card. AVR Maestro opens the official HEOS app for browsing; once playback starts there, AVR Maestro takes back over the now-playing display, transport and widgets. Analog, optical/coaxial and HDMI passthrough sources don't report metadata, so the card stays empty for those.
